LANDMARK’s ‘A Year of Play ‘celebration brings you an exciting collaboration with contemporary artist Dennis Chan, who will be exhibiting his iconic HAHA PANDA art pieces in the city for the first time at LANDMARK ATRIUM and LANDMARK PRINCE’S from 10th to 24th May.
Studio Drift was established in 2007 by Lonneke Gordijn and Ralph Nauta, who both graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2005. Gordijn’s fascination for nature and that of Nauta for science fiction and technology intersect in an intriguing way, paving way for the creation of pieces such as Meadow. Their works occupy a wholly unique place between disciplines such as tech art, performance, and biodesign. Data and algorithms derived from natural phenomena often form the basis for Studio Drift’s work, such as the flight patterns of a flock of birds, for instance. With the help of state-of-the-art technologies, they translate this data into poetic, meditative experiences, and their ideas regularly anticipate technological possibilities.
