In 2001, Stella McCartney launched her eponymous fashion house in a joint venture with the Gucci Group. A lifelong vegetarian, Stella McCartney does not use any leather or fur in her designs. A signature style of sharp tailoring, natural confidence and sexy femininity is apparent in all her collections, which include women’s ready-to-wear, accessories, lingerie, eyewear, fragrance, and the more recently launched kids’ collections. Stella McCartney now operates 40 freestanding stores in locations such as Manhattan’s Soho, London’s Mayfair, LA’s West Hollywood and Paris’ Palais Royal, as well as Milan, Tokyo, Shanghai and Beijing. Her collections are now distributed in more than 70 countries.
