You’ve been good all year, so reward yourself and your loved ones with a true gastronomic experience at two-Michelin-starred Amber, the only Hong Kong restaurant on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants List 2017. Culinary director Richard Ekkebus has created sublime 8-course dinner menus served on Christmas eve and Christmas day (HK$3,288 and HK$2,698, respectively).
Highlights include the Kristal Schrenki caviar tart with leek, crème fraiche and feuille de brick, and bresse poulard steamed with black winter truffles, its leg minced in silver beet, jus and Albufera emulsion.

Revive the festive spirit with a Christmas shopping break at contemporary Italian and Japanese restaurant Armani/Aqua. You can enjoy a resplendent five-course Christmas Dinner that begins with an impressive selection of sushi and sashimi, followed by grilled eggplant with a miso glaze, foie gras and sesame. The main course offers a choice New Zealand grilled lamb chops with teriyaki sauce, onion mustard and smoked aubergine or baked cod with spinach and pumpkin purée served with asparagus cream sauce. The dinner comes to a satisfying conclusion with an exquisite seasonal creation - traditional panettone with white chocolate ganache and winter berry zabaione. The dinner set is available from November 25-December 23 at HK$698 plus HK$398 with wine pairing, or from December 24-26 at HK$798 plus HK$488 with wine.

Best known for stylish confections and afternoon teas, Bonnae Gokson’s SEVVA is synonymous with celebrations. For the Christmas season, the Queen of Cakes has designed a Christmas Set Lunch Menu (HK$600) with options that include fresh crabmeat salad with tobiko on artichoke heart; wild mushroom crêpe with champagne cream sauce and caviar; and roast turkey, served with charcoal-baked sweet potato and winter vegetables. For the Christmas Dinner (HK$2,580), guests can choose from a prawn, crabmeat and zucchini crêpe with champagne beurre blanc and caviar; roast duckling with red cabbage and sweet onion risotto or wok-fried Leopard garoupa, king scallop and sea conch. Both sets conclude in festive fashion with SEVVA’s signature rum and fig Christmas pudding crêpe.

Zuma celebrates the arrival of the highly-coveted white truffle from Alba, Italy with a specially crafted 12-course White Truffle Tasting Menu [HKD2,180 per person] available throughout the holiday season. One of the most luxurious dining experiences in city, the feast begins with the Arkadiusz Rybak-designed cocktail Ramos Gin Fizz. Starters include homemade tofu with caviar and a paper-thin shaving of white truffle, followed by mains such as Alaskan grilled King Crab leg with smoked chili lime butter. The Japanese baked Tokachi white truffle cheesecake with hazelnuts, biscuits and yuzu sorbet provides an unforgettable finish to the meal. In addition to the tasting menu, Zuma’s also hosting Christmas Eve and Christmas Day brunches (regular brunch at HK$688, with champagne HK$888), where diners can enjoy mulled wine, oysters and roasted turkey.
